I’ve been a broadcaster since 1989 but started getting paid for it in 1991! From writing sketches and voicing them once a week to presenting on large regional radio stations and across the UK as Santa, I’ve gained a lot of experience on both sides of the microphone and collected a few awards along the way! I’m currently co-hosting the Breakfast Show on Peak FM but have worked all over the country.

In my experience as an off-air Programme Director, I’ve had to coach presenters, contribute towards content ideas, design programme clocks and schedule music, liaise with record companies and artists, oversee live OB’s and PA’s, and come up with SPI concepts for commercial sales teams to sell that work for clients and listeners alike. I’ve conducted listener research labs, analysed audience figures, been involved in high level strategic meetings, overseen large news teams and produced compelling output designed to raise money for specific charities. No two days have ever been the same and I still get a buzz out being in a studio environment!
